Join Cleveland Dance Project for a Pom class (no pom experience required,
but held for int/adv dancers with jazz technique) with Paige St John!

If Jazz and Cheerleading had a baby, it would be called Pom! Pom challenges
both your artistry and athleticism using swift tempos, dynamic weight and
directional changes, explosive classic Jazz technique, and Cheerleading
motion placement and jumps. Pom experience is not required for this
workshop, but enthusiastic energy is definitely a must!

*Paige St. John is a professional dance educator, choreographer, and
performer originally from the Cleveland area. She graduated with her
Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Dance from The Ohio State University
(2019), and is currently pursuing her Master's in Dance Education through
the University of Northern Colorado ('23). Her work as an educator has
taken her across the globe, leading her to have either choreographed,
taught, judged, or presented dance education and coaching seminars on five
out of the seven continents. Some of her most notable and inspiring
experiences include performing at the Rebild Bakker 4th of July Festival in
Denmark, teaching private coaching sessions with various teams in Slovenia,
judging the Ukrainian Dance Championship Cup in Kharkiv, and spending four
incredible months teaching, choreographing, writing curriculum, and
training other dance educators in Guangzhou, China. In the States, Paige
choreographs for a variety of studios and teams in the Cleveland area, as
well as multiple nationally-ranked high school and collegiate dance teams,
including The University of Delaware and Temple University. She frequently
travels as a Master Instructor, specializing in technique and choreography
in the styles of Contemporary, Jazz, and Pom. Paige had the incredible
pleasure of being a part of the CDP Company and CDP Showcases in both
Seasons 8 and 9 and she is excited to be bringing Pom to the Cleveland
Dance Project Sunday series! Her love for this genre skyrocketed during her
time spent on The Ohio State University Dance Team (2015 - 2017) and
continued time traveling with, choreographing for, and teaching under the
Universal Dance Association since 2016. Time to show your CDP spirit!*
