[NEohioPAL] Cassidy Theatre Announces Auditions for "The Downside"

For Immediate Release:  

 

Cassidy Theatre is proud to announce auditions for its fully staged production of "The Downside", a new play written by local playwright, Molly McFadden. The play will be directed by Annette Fernandez.

 

Auditions will be held on Monday & Tuesday, June 13th & 14th from 6pm - 8pm. The following roles are open:

 

Marilyn and Todd McGinnis - A married couple in their early 70s Ruby Payne - An African American in her late 60s

Lucy Reynolds - An African American in her late 50s

Shelby McGinnis - Daughter of Marilyn and Todd in her late 20s Sam Mann - An Orthodox Jewish man in his 50s

Peggy - A white Woman in her 50s

Eleni - A Greek lady in her 70s

Bob - A young white man in his late 30s

 

Auditions will consist of cold reading from the script. Actors are encouraged to bring a current headshot and resume with them to their audition .
