*ABOUT THE CHARACTER*
Mr. Jingeling is the "Keeper of the Keys" to Santa's Treasure House of Toys
and many other fantastical places. This famous elf has been unlocking
imaginations in Cleveland, Ohio for generations and bestows "Good Luck
Keys" to all he meets.

Mr. Jingeling first appeared on the Cleveland airwaves of WEWS TV in 1956
as a spokesman for the Halle Bros. department store. The original idea
behind Mr. Jingeling was to promote the toys that Halle's was featuring at
their store. Becoming hugely popular, the character of Mr. Jingeling soon
took on a new role and was getting more air time to tell stories about his
adventures as a key maker who ultimately was appointed by Santa to be one
of his most trusted elves... the "Keeper of the Keys".



Mr. Jingeling also made personal appearances "on Halle's seventh floor", as
the song goes, to entertain and engage young and old alike. After Halle's
closed its doors, Mr. Jingeling began appearing at rival Higbee's
department store, Tower City Center and more recently at several venues
across Northeast Ohio.

Ohio.*

*REQUIREMENTS & EXPECTATIONS**ROLE:  *Open to MEN AGES 50+
*PAID COMPENSATION: *Varies (Hourly or Per event/gig or Combination)

*QUALIFIED PERSONS MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:*

* Outgoing personality

* Jovial; Santa Claus-esque persona
* Sense of humor/Loves to laugh

* Excellence in storytelling
* Ability to sustain heightened characterization and physicality

* Ability to engage crowds with honest enthusiasm

* Loves working with families and children

* Willing to make a difference in a guest’s experience

* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

* Available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

* Must have reliable transportation
* Must be bald or willing to shave head or style existing hair into
signature appearance
* Must be willing to commit to a multi-year contract
* Must be willing to submit to a background check
