A Brand-New Comedy

at Olde Towne Hall Theatre, 36119 Center Ridge Rd, North Ridgeville

Synopsis

In this brand new, face-paced farce, Heather finally gets the opportunity to display her artwork in a local gallery but it happens on the same day she’s moving out of her apartment. When the movers arrive, she accidentally sends her furniture to the gallery and her artwork to the new apartment. With Cindy’s job at stake, the women play along like this was what they wanted displayed. The hilarity continues when Artini Bagoni isn’t able to critique the venue, placing Vicky, who doesn't know anything about art, as the role of a famous and knowledgeable art connoisseur.



AUDITION DATES

Tuesday & Wednesday, August 9 & 10, 2022 beginning at 7:00 pm

at Olde Towne Hall Theatre - 36119 Center Ridge Rd. North Ridgeville


Auditions are in person and consist of reading sections of the script.

Many actors will need to feel comfortable with physical comedy during performances.

Vicky - Heather’s best friend, 20s-30s

Alan - Heather’s neighbor, any age

Cindy - an art curator, any age

Brad - Vicky’s coworker, any age

Warren - gallery owner, 40s-50s

Artini Bagoni - famous art blogger from Italy, 30s+


Supporting Cast

Bub - 30s+ mover

Hank/Stuart - any age, mover (act 1) and gallery attendee (act 2)

Curtis/Patrick - any age, mover (act 1) and gallery attendee (act 2)

Mack/Warren - 30s+, mover (act 1) and gallery owner (act 2)

Nora - any age, gallery attendee


Production Dates –

September 30, Oct. 1, 2, 7, 8, 9, 14, 15

Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30. Two Sunday matinees at 2:00.



Rehearsals begin Monday, August 15, 2022

Rehearsals will be Monday - Thursday nights from 7:15 - 9:15

Tech Sunday scheduled on September 25th 1:00pm - 6:00pm
