Aurora Community Theatre opens its 63nd season with August: Osage County,
the first of four productions of 2022-2023.



Founded in 1959, ACT and has earned the admiration of our patrons and the
reputation of presenting fine community theatre. Many factors have helped
build this reputation. The philosophy of ACT entails respect for the
individual, willing cooperation of all involved and a striving for
excellence.

A vanishing father. A pill popping mother. Three sisters harboring shady
little secrets. When the large Weston family unexpectedly reunites after
dad disappears, their Oklahoman family homestead explodes in a maelstrom of
repressed truths and unsettling secrets. Mix in Violet, the drugged-up,
scathingly acidic matriarch, and you’ve got a major play that
unflinchingly, and uproariously, exposes the dark side of the Midwestern
American Family.

Director D. Keith Stiver leads the creative team with, Amanda Ruby,
producer and Ann Nyenhuis, Stage Manager/Technical Director.



The talented cast of thirteen actors includes  Theresa Benyo-Marzullo,
Annette Fernandez, Amie Gabel, B. J. Holmes, Paul Josell, Priscilla Kaczuk,
Jill Kenderes, Chris Macchione, Bob Maddox, Stephen Morse, Sharon Shaffer,
Dallas Stark, and Vince Stillitano.
