*About this Event*

In this 3 part workshop, actors will meet with NY Agents, Katie Murphy (
Pantera/Murphy) and Kat Hargrave (DGRW).

*10:15-11:00 The NY Market and Q & A *

Participants will  begin the day with hearing from the agents about
pitching yourself for new representation followed by a Q & A.

*11:15-1:15 (Group 1) OR 2:15-4:15 (Group 2) Live Performance*

Actors will then choose a scene to present based on where they believe
their strengths lie as well as where they fit into this industry. The
agents will provide invaluable feedback on the performance.

*4:30-6:30 The Interview*

When an agent decides to meet with you based on your pitch and performance,
it is always followed by an interview. Actors will be assigned a time slot
and will meet with one of the agents to have a personal interview in the
style of what you’d expect when you take a meeting! Agents will provide
feedback on the process, material selected, and give constructive criticism
on how to handle these types of meetings.



Do you truly know your type and where you fit in this industry? Are you
playing to your strengths as you tackle roles? Would this agent put their
stamp of approval on your audition? Katie and Kat will cover all of that
and more from their perspective as a theatrical agent in a highly
competitive market!
