*Arts Administrator*

*Organization’s Mission: *Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural
Outreach’s (ORMACO)
mission is to make music, arts and culture accessible to all, with a focus
on underserved, disadvantaged and rural populations.

*Primary Location:* Medina County, with some travel to surrounding
communities; remote

*Responsibilities:*

*Responsibilities include, but are not limited to working with the
Executive Director in the following areas*:

·        Program Development and Management – develops, implements and
supervises programs and services that are consistent with the
organization’s mission and Strategic Plan and that meet the needs of
constituents.

·        Fund Development/Grant Oversight –develops and manages the
fundraising and financial strategies of the organization. Assists in
writing and managing grant applications for current grant programs, but
through research, applies for new grant opportunities.

·        General Arts Management – Assists in daily business operations,
including hiring, supervising and evaluating independent contractors for
support services; coordinates with volunteers and partner organizations;
executes contracts with service providers.

·        Community/Regional Relations – develops effective working
relationships within communities served and with all stakeholders (i.e.,
residents, government, schools, civic organizations) to ensure that the
arts are represented in the community at large and for the constituency
that ORMACO serves.

·        Advocacy –articulates and communicates the value of the arts in
improving our quality of life, and promotes community support of the arts
and ORMACO, including managing aspects of ORMACO’s current social media
(Facebook, Twitter, Constant Contact), identifies and implements other
pertinent social media platforms.

·        Conducts all business at the highest standard of integrity
ensuring that all activities are legal and ethical.

·        Other duties assigned.



*Experience/Qualifications:*

·        College graduate with some experience, preferably in a nonprofit
organization, with experience in the arts or a related area preferred.

·        Master’s degree in a relevant field is a plus.

·        Knowledge of ORMACO’s service area and the arts within it.

·        Proven record as a successful fundraiser.

·        Outstanding written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.

·        Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

·        Strong planning, organizational and analytical skills.

·        Ability to positively motivate and develop support workers, board,
and volunteers and build consensus.

·        Visionary and innovative thinker.

·        Ability to work collaboratively with all sectors of the community,
the Board of Trustees and support workers.



Part-time (20-25 hours per week); $28-35k per year, commensurate with
