Academy!*

Live from Lakewood it's SATUUUUURDAY NIGHT. Okay well Tuesdays anyway.
Sketch comedy comes to Lakewood with instructors Emmy nominated TV and Film
writer and director, a Second City Alum and actor and funny man Jeffrey
Lange.

In this course we will cover different sketch formats, working in a writers
room, pitching your ideas confidently, and revising a final script. This
class is for kids and teens ages 12-17 who love to make people smile.
Students will learn the craft of sketch comedy writing and "what makes
something funny." The class includes 3 weeks of writing and rehearsal and
culminates in a live performance of the class work.

Also Special Effects Makeup with creature creator Billy Butcher. Kids will
learn how to make the monster from the iconic Michael Jackson *THRILLER*
video which will be used in the 8 Week Film Class production of the same
name.
