Auditions for all youth in grades 1-12 will be held on:

Monday, March 13, 6:00-8:30 PM AND Tuesday, March 14, 6:00 – 8:30 PM,
at Notre Dame College, 1857 S. Green Road, South Euclid, OH 44121

Please enter the Regina complex through the main glass doors near the
Regina Auditorium to sign in for auditions.

Callbacks will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 6-9 PM by invitation only at
Notre Dame College. If you are not called back, please know that does not
mean you are not cast.

Rehearsal and performances will be held at: Notre Dame College,
1857 S. Green Road, South Euclid, OH 44121

Casting Information:  All roles are available. HYT is committed to
non-traditional casting.  Actors will be cast solely on the basis of
talent, except in cases where age, race or physical ability is essential to
a role.

WHAT TO PREPARE:

Grades 1-5

1. Please learn the following lyrics from "Put on a Happy Face"

Grades 6-12

1. One selection in the style of the show up to a minute in length (i.e.
one verse and one chorus).

2. Accompanist provided (no acapella singing) Bring complete sheet music.



Everyone please bring a headshot or photo (Resume optional) and fill out
the audition form, found here

prior to coming to audition. Also, please list all conflicts on the
audition form or come prepared with your conflicts to complete a form at
auditions.

We will be looking for the following when you audition:

   -

   Ability to sing consistently on pitch and with expression
   -

   A solid sense of beat and rhythm
   -

   Overall preparation (knowledge of song and self-presentation)
   -

   Positive Behavior


Rehearsals will begin on Monday, March 27, 6:00 PM.  Rehearsals will be
Monday - Friday, 5:30-8:30 pm. You will not be called every day, only when
you are needed to work.  Please note - there may be some Saturday morning
rehearsals.

Attendance at ALL tech week rehearsals, sitzprobe on date and time TBD
(where the orchestra and cast will play and sing through the show), as well
as all performances, is mandatory.

Tech rehearsals begin on Friday, May 12, 2023 and run through May 17, 2023.

Thursday, May 18, 2023, 7 PM

Friday, May 19, 2023, 7 PM

Saturday, May 20, 2023, 2 PM

Sunday, May 21, 2023, 2 & 7 PM
