*Description *The course is an intensive and deep introduction to the
Michael Chekhov technique. Michael Chekhov developed a fully
psycho-physical approach offering simple tools for working with the
imagination, body and emotions. This technique engages the actor's entire
body and stimulates his psyche and emotional states, enabling the actor to
transform into another character. During the course we will be exploring
what it means to really engage the whole body in the physical actions and
how rich the psychological response to it can be.

Workshops designed for actors, dancers, performers, people interested in
self-development. The great advantage of Michael Chekhov technique is that
it allows you to use imagination in order to create a character, helps you
to deeply connect with your body and understand the intangible,
psychological processes happening within the body, allows to reconnect with
your creative energy.

The class will consist of a few tools from Michael Chekhov technique:

   -

   - Qualities of Movement
   -

   - 3 centers: Willing, Feeling, Thinking
   -

   - Expansion – Contraction
   -

   - Psychological Gesture
