Auditions for KINKY BOOTS directed by Nina Fisher, music direction by Felix
Grittner, choreographed by Connie Laettner.

When: Saturday April 15th from 4-7pm OR Sunday April 16th from 5-8pm
(choose 1 date and sign up for 1 slot). Callbacks on Tuesday April 18th by
invitation.

Where: New Union Center for the Arts, 39 South Main Street, Oberlin, 44074.
 3rd floor.

Who: Adults and teens ages 14 and up

Prepare: One 32-bar cut or two 16-bar cuts from any song you think best
shows off your voice and personality.  We’d also love to see some of your
best/most entertaining dance moves (no experience necessary!)

Kinky Boots tells the story of Charlie Price, who has reluctantly inherited
his father's shoe factory, which is on the verge of bankruptcy. Trying to
live up to his father's legacy and save his family business, Charlie finds
inspiration in the form of Lola. A fabulous entertainer in need of some
sturdy stilettos, Lola turns out to be the one person who can help Charlie
become the man that he is meant to be. As they work to turn the factory
around, this unlikely pair find that they have more in common than they
ever dreamed possible... and discover that, when you change your mind about
someone, you can change your whole world.

Rehearsal schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings
6:30-9:30pm, every other Sunday from 2-5pm.  There is a spot on the sign up
to enter rehearsal conflicts.

Performances will take place at the Elyria Performing Arts Center July 28th
through August 6th.
