[NEohioPAL] NEAR WEST THEATRE SEEKING AUDITIONERS FOR TRANSGENDER ROLE IN BRING IT ON

Near West Theatre is committed to authentically casting to ensure that all
marginalized groups are represented. We recently conducted auditions for
our teen youth production of, Bring It On! To assist us in casting this
role authentically, we will be extending the age limit to 20 years old. We
are still casting for the following role:

*LA CIENEGA: A transgender woman, Any Ethnicity; Her gender is simply not
an issue, accepted by her friends, barely referred to. Best friends with
Nautica and Danielle. Has a wicked tongue but a generous spirit. Singer
with R&B and bluesy chops. Must be able to handle significant
dance/cheerleading skills.*
