Shining Star CLE 2023

Premiere solo-singing competition in Northeast Ohio



The Seventh Annual Shining Star CLE 2023<https://www.menorahpark.org/donate/shining-star-cle/overview> is a wonderful opportunity for 10 high school students to sing on the stage of the prestigious Mimi Ohio Theatre at Playhouse Square in a competition for over $18,000 in college scholarships. To be eligible you must be a high school student with a 2024-2027 graduation date and live in Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage, Stark, Summit or Wayne counties. The high school music department of the first-place winner receives a bonus as well.



Students can upload an audition video on our secure website<https://shiningstarcle.submittable.com/submit> by Friday, June 30, 2023. There is no fee to enter. All genres of music are welcome.



Save the date - Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 7 PM - The Finals Performance



First-place winner, Fiona Coughlin from Firestone CLC was an audience favorite last year.  She purposely challenged herself with a unique opera style song choice and it paid off.
