[NEohioPAL] Hudson OH Big Band Seeks Bass Player

[Western Reserve Community Band]

Our Western Reserve Big Band bass player of over a decade passed away
unexpectedly and we have several upcoming performances this summer and
fall. We need a new bass player to join our group. This is an all volunteer
ensemble, no one gets paid. If you are a bass player who likes playing big
band and jazz we would love to have you join our band. Either electric bass
or upright acoustic bass is acceptable.

Our repertoire ranges from standard big band arrangements to Broadway show,
pop, rock and jazz arrangements. The ensemble has 5 saxes, 4 trombones, 5
trumpets, piano, guitar and drums. We have a male and female vocalist. We
need a new bass player.

We meet weekly at 8:30 pm for an hour rehearsal on Thursday nights after
the Western Reserve Community Band rehearsal in the Hudson Middle School
Band Room.
