*CASTING CALL FOR COLUMBUS ACTORS* My partner Jabar Cole is looking for
actors to shoot a music video this summer. It's going to cover dark subject
matter, but it will be respectfully and beautifully done. I've worked with
Jabar on professional projects before, and I can speak highly of the
quality of his work and his careful handling of sensitive topics. Here are
the casting details. ******************************************** Title:
“Illusion” Characters: Star: Late 20’s, depressed, slightly androgynous
young woman, dealing with a low income job, anxiety, and generally trying
to make her place in the world. She experiences trauma from losing Nina,
and at one point is in danger of dying. Nina: Late 20s very fem, and
naturally gothic looking woman, who has always helped Star smile through
her pain. Throughout the story, Nina is adamant about protecting Star from
Death. Drug Addict: Late 30s to early 40s, scraggly, unkempt, and sickly
man, with a numbed cold, angry look in his eyes. Very sociopathic
character. Death: A male figure, clad in a monks robe and hood, as well as
a zentai suit, that completely covers his face and hands. He is almost a
complete shadow, and he has only one purpose, specific to his namesake. He
is completely perfunctory and shows no emotion throughout the story. Star's
Therapist: Mid 30s or early 40s woman, with her own office. Very
progressively minded, and patient. Harrassing Man at Bar #1: Late 30s or
early 40s, average looking midwestern guy, with a very noticeable leer.
Harrassing Man at Bar #2: Late 30s or early 40s, average looking midwestern
guy, with a very noticeable leer. Harrassing Man at Bar #3: Late 30s or
early 40s, average looking midwestern guy, with a very noticeable leer.
