Looking for actors 18 years of age (must be out of high school) or older.
Non-Union. Unpaid.

AUDITION LOCATION: Akron Civic Theatre’s Knight Stage - 182 S. Main St.,
Akron, OH 44308

AUDITION DATES: Sunday, July 16th 2023 6-10 pm

CALL BACKS: Sunday, July 23rd 2023 5:30-10 pm

SHOW INFORMATION: The chill-inducing story of Benjamin Barker, an unjustly
exiled man who returns to London as “Sweeney Todd” to seek vengeance
against the corrupt judge who framed him and ravaged his young wife. This
dark, witty, Tony Award-winning tale of love, murder, and revenge is not
for the faint of heart!

The roles of Tobias Ragg and Mrs. Lovett have been cast.

Rehearsals begin the week of August 27th.
Performances October 6,7,8, 13,14,15,  20,21,22

WHAT TO PREPARE: 5-minute increments. Two-cuts are needed. 16-32 measures.
Please prepare two contrasting pieces in the style of the show.
