CSF and KK announce auditions for their inaugural partnership: KIDShakes!

*A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM (abridged)*

*…apologies to Shakespeare*



*KIDShakes* is an outdoor, site-specific, interactive performance of
classic texts to provide meaningful exposure to the arts for young children
(ages 5-10) and their families. The event includes a pre-performance
workshop and audience participation.

Please prepare a *video submission* of one (1) comedic Shakespeare
monologue, and also indicate if you can play an instrument. Performance of
the instrument may be requested in the callback. Video auditions are
accepted as an UNLISTED YouTube link.

*All roles are open and paid a stipend to the actor upon completion of the
last performance.*

**Actors MUST BE COMFORTABLE working with children*


This abridged version of A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM follows the Rude
Mechanicals journey as they attempt to rehearse a play.

CAST SIZE: 6 actors
PAID: All actors are paid a stipend
INTENDED AUDIENCE: Children
LENGTH: Approx: 30mins
