Wonderland Wives by Buddy Thomas

Note: Wonderland Wives is intended for mature audienceswith very immature tastes. Cinderella’s Prince Charming is serving ten years inthe pen, Belle’s house is overrun with little monsters, Alice has been hittingthe caterpillar’s pipe a little too hard lately, and Snow White’s husband hasshacked up with the three little pigs. Now she’s keeping up appearances as thefairest in the land with the help of a little girdle and a lot of hair dye, andtrying to keep Belle from draining the royal booze reserves and Cindy frominhaling the banquet table...

Author’s Note: Wonderland wives is a fractured fairytalewith strong language and adult situations, and is meant for mature audiences withvery immature tastes. The world premiere production used cross gender castingfor the roles of Belle, Cindy, Fairy Godmother, Alice, and the queen and thatis encouraged but not required. In other words, some or all of the roles may beplayed by men in drag.

ABOUT THE AUDITIONS:

Auditions will consist of cold readings fromthe script.

Auditions will be August 20th,12-2PM, August 21st 7-9PM. Please arrive close to the start time forthe dates. 

Auditions will occur at the LIMINIS Theatre,2438 Scranton Rd. Cleveland, OH 44113.

PRODUCTION DATES:

Rehearsals will begin the week of October 16th,2023

Production will be Friday December 1st throughDecember 23rd , with performances Thursday – Saturday at 8pm.

All roles receive a $400 stipend at theconclusion of the run.
