SYNOPSIS:

“A small group of people help Jesus Christ tell different parables by using a wide variety of games, storytelling techniques and hefty doses of comic timing. An eclectic blend of songs, ranging in style from pop to vaudeville, is employed as the story of Jesus' life dances across the stage. Dissolving hauntingly into the Last Supper and the Crucifixion, Jesus' messages of kindness, tolerance and love come vibrantly to life”. 

 **IMPORTANT**Auditions are open only to individuals who will be entering 8th grade at the beginning of the 2023-2024 school year or older. Individuals who do not meet this criterion will not be considered and are encouraged to participate in Theater 8:15 Workshops or other upcoming shows. 
The team is looking to cast approximately 20. All roles are open, and all genders, ethnicities, and identities will be considered for all roles. Some roles require more physical agility and/or the ability to move quickly.
 
Auditionees will need to prepare a 1-minute cutting of a song from the show. If you are interested in more than one song from the show, please have additional songs ready. (Music auditions are to be a capella or with accompaniment tracks if you have them accessible).

There will be no dance/movement portion to the audition. Those auditioning should also be prepared to read from the script if necessary.
