*TITLE:* Technical Director – High School



*REPORTS TO:* Director of Theatre Arts



*SUMMARY:* A qualified candidate would be excited to collaborate with the
Director and Scenic Designer for fall and spring show set design.
Additionally, the candidate would lead students through the safe
construction of the set, assist the Director with the lighting design, and
oversee audio reinforcement.



*COMPENSATION:* $2300



*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:*



1. Supervise and train students crew members on the basics of safety,
construction, lighting, sound, rigging, and scenic art

2. Interact in a positive manner with staff, students and parents. Respond
to routine questions and requests in a timely, appropriate manner.

3. Work within budget



*QUALIFICATIONS:*



1. Must have theatrical experience, preferably which includes working with
high school age students.



*REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:*



1. Basic Carpentry skills

2. Rigging skills

3. Sound design and operation skills

4. Knowledge of theatre lighting systems

5. Basic first aid



*EQUIPMENT OPERATED:*



1. Standard set construction tools (Circular Saw, Table Saw, Drills, etc.)

2. Light and sound boards
