AUDITION NOTICE FOR:

STAGE FRIGHTS

Comedy/Horror Play

STORY:

The house manager of Imposters Theater hires a clairvoyant to prove to the
audience once and for all that the theater is haunted. They conjure 5
ghosts throughout comedy history and help them cross over into the great
beyond.

REHEARSAL SCHEDULE WILL BE DETERMINED AFTER CASTING.

CHARACTERS:

HANK - HOUSE MANAGER - AGE 40 - 50s. Driven to the brink of madness by the
shenanigans of the ghosts. They are great at their job but have always
longed to be part of the action on stage.

AVA - ERA - VAUDEVILLE - AGE 20 - 30s. A burlesque performer who was killed
in the theater in 1910. Dance experience is a major plus.

CARLA - ERA - HOLLYWOOD GOLDEN AGE- AGE 20 - 40s. An acclaimed dramatic
actor of the silver screen. She returned home to Cleveland in the 1940s to
reinvent herself on the comedy stage but met a tragic end.

JEEPERS - ERA - 1970s - AGE - 20 - 40s. A lonely clown trying to make his
way in the world. Thinking of making his big break on the Imposters stage,
Jeepers planned a stunt even he couldn’t pull off. Clowning skills are a
major plus.

HENRY -  ERA - 1990s - AGE - 30s - 40s. An aspiring stand up comedian
looking for his big laugh.

CHRIS - ERA - 2000s - AGE -20s - 30s - An improv and sketch prodigy that
never reached their full potential.
