*This is a staged reading of William Shakespeare's KING LEAR. Produced
under the auspices of the Theatre Authority, Inc.
and                                       Actors Equity Association.*

 The King of England, Lear, in preparation for his old age, decides to
divide his power and land between his daughters.  The two eldest daughters
lie and flatter him; his youngest tells him the truth which he ultimately
rejects.  Lear ultimately becomes destitute and insane, and these actions
become the crux of political machinations. A gripping tale of power*, *greed
and family loyalty.

*will play for only TWO performances: Friday, September 29 and Saturday,
September 30 at 7:30 pm*
