*Auditions: *Tuesday, November 28 and Wednesday, November 29 at 7PM

*Show Dates:*  March 22, 2024 – April 14, 2024 (no performance on Easter
Sunday, March 31)
Thursday, Friday, Saturday at 8:00PM and Sunday at 2:00PM

*Story:  *This smash Off-Broadway hit takes you to the 1958 Springfield
High School prom, where we meet Betty Jean, Cindy Lou, Missy, and Suzy:
four girls with hopes and dreams as big as their crinoline skirts! As we
learn about their lives and loves, the girls serenade us with classic ‘50s
hits including “Lollipop,” “Dream Lover,” “Stupid Cupid,” and “Lipstick on
Your Collar.”
In Act II, the Wonderettes reunite to take the stage and perform at their
ten-year reunion. We learn about the highs and lows the girls have
experienced in the past decade and are charmed to find that no matter what
life throws their way, they will conquer it together. Featuring over 30
classic ’50s and ’60s hits, *The Marvelous Wonderettes* will keep you
smiling in this must-take musical trip down memory lane!

*Seeking:* The Director is committed to casting strong BIPOC women
actor-singers in at least half of these roles to represent and honor the
rich musical history of BIPOC singers and songwriters of the time period
like Enda Lewis, Rudy Clark and Betty Everett.  Please read the play. There
will be cold readings from the script. Please familiarize yourself with Betty

anything; parts will be taught at the audition. Be prepared to sing solo
and in harmony with the group.

*Characters:*
Cindy Lou (18, 28) Vocal Range: Mezzo-Soprano Belt: E3–F5.
Missy (18, 28) Vocal Range: Soprano: G3–A5.
Betty Jean (18, 28) Vocal Range: Alto with strong low range: D3–E5.
Suzy (18, 28) Vocal Range: Mezzo-Alto with both sweet and soulful voice:
G3–E5.

*AUDITIONS: * Auditionees will have the picture taken by Stage Manager and
complete an audition form upon arrival. Scripts may be signed out with a
$10 deposit from the Box Office but must be returned by Saturday, November
25. Callbacks will be scheduled if needed based on performer
availability.  Please be prepared to stay for the full two hours.  Use the
