*Auditions for all youth in grades 1-12 will be held on:*
Tuesday, October 17, 6:00-8:30 PM AND Wednesday, October 18, 6:00 – 8:30
PM,  at Notre Dame College,  1857 S. Green Road, South Euclid, OH 44121

Please enter the Regina complex through the main glass doors near the
Regina Auditorium to sign in for auditions.

Callbacks will be held on Thursday, October 19, 6-9 PM by invitation only
at Notre Dame College. *If you are not called back, please know that does
not mean you are not cast.*

Casting Information:  All roles are available. HYT is committed to
non-traditional casting.  Actors will be cast solely on the basis of
talent, except in cases where age, race or physical ability is essential to
a role.

WHAT TO PREPARE:

Grades 1-5

practice before you sing alone)

Grades 6-12

   1. One selection in the style of the show up to a minute in length (ie-
   one verse and one chorus).
   2. Accompanist provided (no acapella singing) Bring complete sheet music.

Everyone please bring a headshot or photo (Resume optional) and fill out
the audition form, found here

audition. Also, please list all conflicts on the audition form or come
prepared with your conflicts to complete a form at auditions.

We will be looking for the following when you audition:

   - Listening skills and receptivity to feedback
   - Positive behavior
   - Ability to sing consistently on pitch and with expression
   - A solid sense of beat and rhythm
   - Overall preparation (knowledge of song and self-presentation)


Rehearsals will begin on Monday, October 30, 6:00 PM.  Rehearsals will
be rehearsals
will be scheduled between 5:30 - 8;30 pm - Monday through Friday. You will
not be called every day, only when you are needed to work. Please note -
there may be some Saturday rehearsals as well.

Attendance at ALL tech week rehearsals, sitzprobe on January 7th  with time
TBD (where the orchestra and cast will play and sing through the show), as
well as all performances, is mandatory. Tech rehearsals begin on Friday,
January 5, 2024 and runs through January 10, 2024.

Production Dates:

   - Thursday, January 11, 2024, 7 PM
   - Friday, January 12, 2024, 7 PM
   - Saturday, January 13, 2024,  2 & 7 PM
   - Sunday, January 14, 2024,  2 PM
