Come join the return of  the Sounds of St James Concert Series starting 4pm Sunday, November 5th, 2024.  This special opening concert will feature the talents of the Guetle Cello Duo; Elisabeth Guetle and Olivia Guetle both accomplished musicians and daughters of our Music Director, Janet Guetle.

 

The cello duos will feature  Teleman Canonic Sonata No. 2 and Vivaldi's Concerto for Two Cellos in G Minor.  The energy, joy and intricate melodies of these pieces will truly lift your spirits. This quick-tempoed music, demonstrates the performers mastery of their instruments.

 

Vocal performances by Gillian Beckman,  Liz Aranda and Yasmin Gerardi of the Cleveland Institute of Music will impress you as their considerable vocal abilities are showcased in their  presentation of the much beloved music of Mozart, Shubert, Dell'acqua and Quilter.

 

They will truly "raise a joyful noise " as St. James Church is filled with rich melodies  and harmonies characteristic of this music.
