[NEohioPAL] FREE vocal masterclass

FREE Vocal Masterclass Dec 9, 2023 from 2-4 pm.

The class will be held at Norwalk Arts Center, 22 E. Main St , Norwalk,
Ohio.



This class is open to students grades 7-12.  Ms Hummel-Sass is a
professional mezzo-soprano. As an accomplished performer and teacher, her
masterclass will teach participants healthy vocal technique, audition prep
and more. Learn a new audition cut, or bring a prepared piece to workshop.
The class is FREE to students, REGISTRATION is REQUIRED! limited space is
available!

Ms. Hummel-Sass is a professional mezzo-soprano who performs and directs
regionally and maintains a busy vocal and piano studio that serves Tiffin
and surrounding areas. Her specialties are Jazz, Musical Theatre, and
Classical Art Song. Ms. Hummel-Sass studied classical voice at Oberlin
Conservatory of Music before leaving the industry to work as an interior
designer and then as a midwife! Dani has spent recent years honing her
current vocal technique under the tutelage of Dr. Renee Clair. Her favorite
roles include: Mrs. Lovett (Sweeney Todd: the Demon Barber of Fleet
Street), Aunt March (Little Women), and Jenny (Company). Ms. Hummel-Sass
loves the stage and the stage loves her back, but most importantly, she
loves to share performance expertise with others. Dani is originally from
Pennsylvania, has lived in seven other states so far, and is currently
residing in Tiffin, Ohio with her family.
