Twin Masks Performing Arts Center (TMPAC), located at 9076 Church Street, Suites 2 and 3, in Twinsburg, is pleased to announce auditions for a Night of David Ives, featuring Sure Thing and The Universal Language, directed by Annette Fernandez. Auditions will be on Sunday, November 19 and Monday, November 20; both dates starting at 7pm. 

The show will take place on Friday and Saturday evenings at 8pm on February 2, 3, 9, 10, 16 and 17, 2024, with a small intermission between the two one act shows. 

Rehearsals to begin December with a break for Christmas and New Years. Looking for 2m 2f. 

THE STORY: SURE THING. Two people meet in a cafe and find their way through a conversational minefield as an offstage bell interrupts their false starts, gaffes, and faux pas on the way to falling in love.

THE STORY: THE UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE brings together Dawn, a young woman with a stutter, and Don, the creator and teacher of Unamunda, a wild comic language. Their lesson sends them off into a dazzling display of hysterical verbal pyrotechnics—and, of course, true love.

Dawn - late 20s- early 40s, has a stutter strong comedic actor 

Don- late 20s early 40s strong comedic actor. - note this actor will speak majority in a made up language of Unamunda 

Young man -  20s to 40s (would also be Bill in Sure Thing)
