This class is for curious folks who have always wanted to try yoga but
haven’t had the chance AND also avid practitioners who have honed in on why
they love asana AND all those in between. You’ll move through 60 mins of a
rigorous vinyasa yoga flow, using your breath to move through and hold
various poses to strengthen and stretch muscles while also calming your
mind. Modifications will be provided to help you fit the class to however
you’re feeling that day whether you want to gently challenge yourself or
push to find your limits. You will have the option of hands-on assists from
the instructor, which are gentle adjustments to help deepen your stretch or
help your alignment. The last 15 mins of class will conclude with
restorative poses to relax and a guided meditation, so you can process the
emotional and mental benefits of the practice.
*Jessica "DiBa" Bennett is a 200 RYT certified yoga instructor through Yoga
Vida NYC, as well as certified in prenatal and postnatal yoga from BLOOMA
and completion of the yoga intensive course from Parmath Niketab Ashram in
Rishikesh, India. She has been teaching yoga for a decade and loves meeting
practitioners where they’re at!*
