AUDITIONSFOR THE MUSICAL “WORKING”AtBroadview Heights Spotlights Theater
Auditions for “Working” by Stephen Schwartz will be held by appointmenton Sunday, December 3 from 2:00PM – 5:00PM and Monday, December 4 from 6:00PM –9:00PM. Auditioners (ages 16 & up) can clickhere to sign up for an audition slot .  Auditions will be held at the Theater, 9543Broadview Road (next to the Police Department). 


Based on Studs Terkel’s best-selling book of interviews with Americanworkers, “Working” paints a vivid portrait of the workers that the world sooften takes for granted: the schoolteacher, the phone operator, the waitress,the millworker, the mason, and the housewife, just to name a few. Nominated forsix Tony Awards in 1978, this classic has been updated for a modern age,featuring songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Stephen Schwartz, Craig Carnelia, JamesTaylor, Micki Grant, and more.

No Equity contracts are available for this show. Invited callbacks, ifnecessary, may be scheduled. Rehearsals will begin the week of January 7, 2024.The show runs February 23 – March 3, 2024. The show contains mature themes andlanguage. Please be familiar with the material before auditioning. The showwill be directed and music directed by Ryan Bergeron.
