The Stephen Sondheim Society notes that Sondheim was "widelyacknowledged as the most innovative, most influential and most importantcomposer and lyricist in modern Broadway history. For more than 50 years, hehas set an unsurpassed standard of brilliance and artistic integrity in musicaltheatre. His accolades include an Academy Award, eight Tony Awards (more thanany other composer) including the Special Tony Award for Lifetime Achievementin the Theatre, multiple Grammy Awards, multiple Drama Desk awards and aPulitzer Prize."

Come see some of Stephen Sondheim's greatest compositions performed bySpotlights Theater’s talented group of performers. This special weekend will beheld Friday and Saturday, May 17 & 18, 2024, at Broadview Heights SpotlightsTheater, 9543 Broadview Road (on the Broadview Heights City Campus next to thePolice Department). As part of its Cabaret Series, audience members are invited to bringtheir own bottle of wine to enjoy during the performance.  Glassware, corkscrews, and small bites willbe provided.
