RAGTIME! The Musical In Concert

A special collaboration between the Canton Symphony Orchestra and the
Players Guild Theatre.

This one night only semi-staged concert event will be presented on August
17, 2024, at Umstattd Hall and feature the renown Canton Symphony
Orchestra, conducted by CSO Music Director, Matthew Jenkins Jaroszewicz.

Auditions:
Thursday, June 27th 6:30-9:30pm
Saturday, June 29th 11:00am-2:00pm

Auditions will be held at The Players Guild Theatre at Kent State
University at Stark, in the Fine Arts Building, 6000 Frank Ave NW, North
Canton, OH 44720.

Callbacks TBD

Schedule:
Rehearsals begin Monday, July 15th.
Rehearsals will run Mondays - Thursdays 6:30-10:00 PM.

Rehearsals will be held at The Players Guild Theatre at Kent State
University at Stark, in the Fine Arts Building.

Tech Rehearsals will be held at Umstattd Hall, 2331 17th St. NW, Canton, OH
44708, on the following dates and times: ​

​*Tuesday, August 13 at 7:30 pm (Piano Rehearsal) ​*Thursday, August 15, at
7:30 pm (orchestra and full cast) ​
*Friday, August 16, at 7:30 pm (orchestra and full cast)

*PLEASE NOTE, NO CONFLICTS OR EXCEPTIONS OF ANY KIND WILL BE ACCEPTED, ALL
TECH REHEARSAL DATES ARE MANDATORY.

Performance date: August 17, 2024 at 7:30pm

ALL ROLES AVAILABLE

Please prepare 32 bars of a contemporary musical theatre piece, which best
showcases your range. Please bring sheet music in the appropriate key. An
accompanist will be provided.

Those wishing to audition can make an appointment for an audition time by
signing up online via the available Sign up link below.

Please note, actors will be asked to provide their own wardrobe for this
special event. Certain requests may be made, and will be provided in detail
prior to tech rehearsals.

All actors will be required to be off-book for tech rehearsals and the
performance.
