The Academy for Dramatic Arts in Olmsted Falls announces their Summer Theatre Workshops.

Join AFDA this summer and let your creativity soar! Our educational experiences will help you expand your performing skills and have fun! Two opportunities are available.

One Act Workshop
Perfect for the new or experienced actor. Students will learn and refine the basics of building a character, stage presence, blocking, props, and set design through an abbreviated rehearsal process while working on a one-act play. The class culminates in a one-afternoon-only performance on the final day of camp. Register for one or BOTH sessions!For rising fourth through eighth graders. Cost: $85 an artist.
Session A -June 17-21

Session B-July 8-12


Both Sessions 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.


 

Musical Theatre Workshop
Help create, write, and star in your own musical! You’ll have one month to put together everything from music to props, choreography, and set. It all concludes with a two-night performance for your friends and family. For rising eighth through twelfth graders. Cost: $100 an artist. June 9-July 13Sundays and Wednesdays.
