[Young Filmmakers Academy]

The Young Filmmakers Academy RED CARPET PREMIERE is an annual extravaganza
and the organizational highlight of the year. After 3 weeks of hard work
and dedication by both the students and the staff, the RED CARPET PREMIERE is
a celebration of that hard work. It's a night to showcase the films made by
the students and to honor the excellence of these future Spielbergs.

The gala event showcases the  ADVANCED SUMMER PROGRAM and the BEGINNERS CAMP as
well as several films made by our 8 WEEK FILM SCHOOL.


Join us Friday, August 23 at Sari Feldman Auditorium in Parma for the
screening of our 2 summer films.


*ONE OF THEM*: After an apparent alien invasion a group of kids trapped in
a fallout shelter begin to turn on each other wondering who among them
might be one of them. Inspired by War of the Worlds and The Twilight Zone.


*THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP*: A group of friends on a playground encounter a
girl with inexplicable powers who teaches them that being different is not
a bad thing.


*BONUS FILMS*: We will also screen several shorts from our after school
programs including Harry Potter, Pulp Fiction and Percy Jackson.
