We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Video Production Assistant to
join our dynamic team at Young Filmmakers Academy. As a Video Production
Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our video production
efforts and ensuring the smooth execution of our projects with students
ages 12-17.

Responsibilities:

- Work with staff as well as our students to assist in all aspects of video
production, including pre-production, production, and post-production while
creating and maintaining a fun learning environment.

- Collaborate with the video production team to develop and execute
projects with our students.

- Set up and operate video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and
sound equipment.

- Conduct research and gather reference materials for video projects.

- Assist with video editing, including organizing footage, creating rough
cuts, and adding graphics and effects.

- Manage video files and maintain an organized video library.

- Provide general support to the video production team as needed.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media Studies, or a related field
(or equivalent experience).

- Previous experience working in video production or a related role is
preferred.

- Proficient in operating video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and
sound equipment.

- Familiarity with video editing software, such as Adobe Creative Suite or
Final Cut Pro.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.

- Creative mindset and a passion for video production.

Experience working with kids a plus.
