The Rime of the Ancient Mariner is coming to Akron for a series of 2pm matinees - Saturdays and Sundays : August 3 and 4 and August 10 and 11 at Jane Bond's new venture -MakeShift Theatre at 833 Carroll Street. The philosophy of MakeShift is for Seniors by Seniors - and readers' theatre. All in the pleasant setting of an old church full of character.
Two of the three characters will be read their parts ; the narrator and the wedding guest,as well as two spirits, the harbor pilot and an old hermit the Mariner meets along the way.
