MTC to Hold Auditions for HAIR!

*Youngstown, Ohio*- The Millennial Theatre Company (MTC) is excited to
announce auditions for *HAIR- the American Tribal Rock Musical*. Auditions
will be held Thursday, August 15 from 6-9pm and Saturday, August 17 from
12-3pm at Hopewell Theatre (702 Mahoning Avenue). Auditioners should
prepare a 30-60 second cut of a song in the style of the show. An
accompanist will be provided. Seeking a diverse cast of actors ages 17+.
All roles are open. Please come prepared to do a cold reading. Headshot and
resume are encouraged, but not required.

The American tribal love rock musical HAIR celebrates the sixties
counterculture in all its barefoot, long-haired, bell-bottomed, beaded and
fringed glory. To an infectiously energetic rock beat, the show wows
audiences with songs like "Aquarius," "Good Morning, Starshine," "Hair," "I
Got Life" and "Let The Sunshine In." Exploring ideas of identity,
community, global responsibility and peace, HAIR remains relevant as ever
as it examines what it means to be a young person in a changing world.


HAIR is directed by Joe Asente with Music Direction by Ryan Lamb and
Choreography by Danielle Mentzer.

HAIR will play October 18-20, 25-27 and November 1-3 at Hopewell Theatre.
Rehearsals will run 4 days a week from 6-9:30pm at Hopewell Theatre. For
