*AUDITION NOTICE*



The Millennial Project is proud to announce auditions for our upcoming
production of “She Kills Monsters” by Qui Nguyen. Directed by Abbey Marshall
 with stage combat direction by Austin Vandegrift.



Auditions will take place on November 13 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the
Akron Civic Theater’s Knight Stage. Actors may choose between two time
slots: 6:30-8 pm or 8:10-9:30 pm. Actors will read sides from the script in
groups. Please plan on attending the full time slot, but you will likely be
released earlier. Callbacks will be held only if necessary.



Rehearsals will begin February 16. Performances run March 21-23.



Please note that this is a non-union and non-paid opportunity. Only
individuals aged 18 and above are eligible to audition.



We are committed to creating a diverse and dynamic production, so we

Characters:



Tilly Evans/Tillius the Paladin: teens-20s female. A nerdy but spunky
tomboy and closeted lesbian obsessed with Dungeons and Dragons.



Agnes Evans: 20s-30s female. Tilly’s pragmatic older sister who goes on a
D&D quest to learn more about her sister.



Chuck: teens-20s, male. A dorky Dungeon Master leading Agnes on her
sister’s campaign.



Miles - 20s-30s male. Agnes’s boyfriend



Lilith Morningstar/Lily - teens-20s female. Sarcastic demon queen and the
party’s muscle. Tilly’s girlfriend.



Kaliope/Kelly - teens-20s female. Graceful, skilled dark elf.



Orcus/Ronnie - teens-20s male. Humorous, irreverent demon.



Vera  - 20s-30s female. Agnes’s best friend and colleague.



Steve - teens-20s male. Dorky in the game and in real life.



*Some actors will double for other roles in the play, including Narrator,
Farrah, and evil succubus cheerleaders.
