[NEohioPAL] Micro Theater takes over Tremont on Nov 1 and 2!

*Announcing the triumphant return of Micro Theater CLE!*

Micro Theater CLE is coming to Tremont this November 1st and 2nd, and we’re
excited to announce the incredible lineup of unique venues that will host
our free pop-up festival for short performances in small spaces! Following
the success of our spring event at the historic Brownhoist building,
where 500 people attended 90 shows from 16 productions, this fall we’re taking
over Tremont, bringing micro performances to bars, coffee shops, private
homes, and surprise spaces.


Participating venues include:


*Lincoln Park Pub:* Enjoy a pint while watching a accordian battle between
"the potato countries and tomato countries".


*Civilization Coffee Shop:* Have some hot apple cider and see improvised
opera or a "Jewbilant" coming out story set on the first night of Hanukkah.


*Eikona Studios Storefront:* Experience boundary-pushing immersive
performance in this storefront at 10th and Literary.


*Private Homes and Secret Spaces:* Pop into the living rooms of Tremont
residents or follow us to surprise locations around the neighborhood.


Micro Theater CLE’s venues reflect our commitment to bringing new
performance directly into the community, making it accessible and engaging
in the places where people live, work, and play. Each performance will be
15 minutes or less, with time in between to grab a drink, explore the
neighborhood, and make new friends.

Spoken word poetry and butoh dance by Genevieve Jencson


*Instant Opera*Like improv or Mad Libs? Join us for an opera where you help
tell the story! Led by Liz Huff


*Moe Kelly*A new play that explores the human experience and the universal
search for meaning in a chaotic world by Peter Anthony Fields


*Sorry, I'm Bisexual *A one-woman show, unless you think those are lame. By
Cam Godfrey, a 2024 Cleveland Scene Magazine nominee for Best Female
Comedian


*The Frances Show - Part 2*Take a front row seat - or play a role! - in the
creative chaos of developing a new performance: The Frances Show by Chris
Szajbert.


*Challah if Ya Queer Me*When a young woman comes out to her family on the

*And Then She Screamed*A new horror play about love, revenge, and escape

*Mel's Diner Players*Long-form, character-focused improv based on
suggestions from the audience by Jamie Stewart and Cole Galloway


*A Marvelous Garden Party*A solo piece in which a woman’s dementia gives
way to a rich imaginary life, from Sally Groth


*Bridal Ballad*A woman on her honeymoon is being haunted by her past
fiancé. Based on Edgar Allen Poe's haunting poem. By Jez Shuvani
