Salsa Y Salsa
Promoting peace and Fun in our neighborhood, celebrating October and
Hispanic Heritage Month with this fun, FREE, community activity! Community
members are invited to join us as we make and eat tomato salsa, and dance
Salsa together. Materials for making tomato salsa will be provided but you
are welcome to bring additional herbs, veggies, or spices from your
garden/pantry to add to your own salsa.

Join your neighborhood Peter Rabbit Project for this fun and accessible
community event. All ages welcome (kids attending must be with a
supervising adult).
Featuring DJ TONY FRESH!!!5pm-8pm: Salsa Dancing at VIP lounge (formerly
known as Belinda’s): Salsa dancing available the whole duration of the
event. 5pm-6:15pm: Making tomato Salsa: Learn to make Tomato salsa from our
local family recipes using the local harvest at Good Earth Farm.
6:15pm-8pm Salsa
Eating: sample and snack on our salsa!6:30pm-7pm: Salsa Dance Lesson: Learn
to basic salsa dance steps for common salsa social dances. Info Provided:

There are NO stairs to enter our neighbors’ businesses Good Earth Farm and
Belindas Latin Night Club. There will be some indoor and outdoor seating.
There will be access to a restroom facility for this event inside the
Belindas VIP Lounge Latin Night Club. We will have KN95 Masks available for
if/when folks are within close proximity to others. (We recommend wearing a
mask in any public indoor space for the protection of our community)
Safety: To attend both the salsa making and the salsa dancing, one must
cross Madison Avenue (a city street).

Community Clothing Swap! English: De-clutter your closet and Refresh your
wardrobe. Bring any unwanted clothing items & take home new-to-you
fashions. All sizes/genders welcome! Great for costumes, performance wear,
professional clothes, etc.

Community members are invited to vote (ranked choice) for your favorite dog
costumes.
Register your FRIENDLY dog to compete in the costume contest (group
costumes welcome).

Safety: ONLY friendly dogs are permitted to participate—dogs who are
comfortable in a public setting with other dogs present are welcome to
participate. Dogs who are not friendly are prohibited from participating.
Participation is at your own risk. Please be responsible by picking up any
waste your dog leaves. All participants must sigh a waiver at check in. Please
stay home if you are sick or read positive for Covid, RSV or flu.
