MTC to Hold Auditions for the area premiere of Be More Chill!

*Youngstown, Ohio -* The Millennial Theatre Company (MTC) is holding open
auditions for AREA PREMIRE of the hit Broadway musical, Be More Chill.
Auditions will be held Thursday, January 30th from 6-9pm, and Saturday,
February 1st from 12-3pm at Hopewell Theatre. Auditioners should prepare a
30-to 60-second cut of a song in the style of the show. An accompanist will
be provided. Seeking a diverse cast of actors ages 16+. ALL ROLES ARE OPEN!
Please come prepared to do some light moving and a cold reading from the
script. Headshot and resume are encouraged, but not required.

With original music and lyrics by Joe Iconis, and a book by Joe Tracz,
based on the 2004 novel of the same name by Ned Vizzini, Be More Chill follows
the story of Jeremy Heere, who is just an average teenager. That is until
he finds out about “The Squip,” a tiny supercomputer that promises to bring
him everything he desires most: a date with Christine, an invite to the
raddest party of the year, and a chance to survive life in his suburban New
Jersey high school.

Directed by Joe Asente with Music Direction by Cari Auth and Choreography
by Danielle Mentzer.

Be More Chill will play April 25-27 and May 2-4 at Hopewell Theatre.
