Things Left Behind is presented as a part of the 2024/2025 Sips & Scripts
Reading series hosted by Kent Trumbull Theatre and Modern Methods Brewing
Company.

*Synopsis*
Things Left Behind is a meta-theatrical piece that follows the playwright,
Dylan, as
he attempts to better understand his father’s life in the wake of his
passing.
Dylan travels through space and time to explore key moments throughout his
father’s life, learning more than he bargained for.

*Roles are available for 10-12 actors of various ages*

   - Micheal Todd Brown: Father of the Playwright. Late 40s-Early 50s.
   White. Male.
   - Dylan Todd Brown: The Playwright. Late 20s-Early 30s. White. Male.
   - Glenn Brown: Grandfather of the Playwright. Early 70s. White. Male.
   - Renee Brown: Grandmother of the Playwright. Late 60s. White. Female.
   - Paige Brown: Sister of the Playwright. 8, 13, & 18. White. Female.
   (Will be portrayed by one actor 18-25)
   - David Brown: Uncle of the Playwright. Late 40s-Early 50s. White. Male.
   - Lisa Brown: Aunt of the Playwright. Early-Mid 40s. White. Female.
   - Young Micheal: Micheal at 18. (Will be portrayed by the actor playing
   Dylan)
   - Young David: David at 17.  (Will be portrayed by actor 18-25)
   - Young Lisa: Lisa at 14. (Will be portrayed by actor 18-25)
   (Potentially doubled with  Paige)
   - Tyrone Davenport: Micheal's Army Roommate. Early 20s. Black. Male.
   - Sergeant: Micheal's Army Sergeant. Any Age. Any Race. Any Gender.
   (Potentially doubled with another role)
   - Diana: Ex-stepmother of the Playwright. Early 40s. Any Race. Female.
   (Potentially doubled with another role)

*How to Audition*
Auditions will be held on Friday, February 7th, from 6:30pm to 9:30pm over
Zoom. Please email dylantoddbrown at gmail.com to receive the script prior to
the audition.

*Rehearsals*
Rehearsals will begin the week of February 17th and will be scheduled
around actor availability. There will be 2-3 rehearsals over zoom and 1
in-person rehearsal before the reading.

*Performance*
There will be 1 performance on March 5th at 7pm, held at The Darlene
Lounge, 145 W Market St, Warren, OH 44481.
