AUDITIONS FOR“SCHOOL HOUSEROCK LIVE!”at Broadview Heights Spotlights Theater
Saturday, March 1 from 2:00PM –5:00PM and Monday, March 3 from 6:00PM –9:00PM - BY APPOINTMENTAuditioners(ages 14 and up) should signup for an audition slot here.
SchoolhouseRock Live! follows Tom, a nerve-wracked school teacher who is nervous about hisfirst day of teaching. He tries to relax by watching TV, when variouscharacters representing facets of his personality emerge from the set and showhim how to win his students over with imagination and music, through such songsas “Just a Bill,” “Lolly, Lolly, Lolly” and “Conjunction Junction.” 
NoEquity contracts are available for this show. Invited callbacks, if necessary,may be scheduled later in the week. Rehearsals will begin the week of March 9.The show runs May 2 – 11, 2025 and will include Saturday and Sunday matinees.
Theshow will be directed by Reilly Davidson and music directed by ClayHoffner.  

Thoseauditioning should plan to attend only one day ofauditions; be familiar with the show and its music; prepare two one-minute, contrastingsongs (one up-tempo, one ballad) in the style of the show (contemporary musicaltheater/pop); bring sheet music in the correct keys,hole-punched in a three-ring binder (singers will not be permitted to sing a cappella); and bring a list of conflicts between March9 and May 11.
