Teaching Artists to facilitate high-quality, educational, and engaging art
experiences in its 2025 After School Arts Program!
ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION
Rainey Institute is where the arts change lives. Our mission is to
facilitate the positive growth and development of Greater Cleveland youth,
through education and engagement in visual and performing arts. For over a
century, as an anchor in Cleveland’s historic Hough neighborhood, Rainey
has impacted countless lives through dynamic programming, community
service, and holistic youth development. In 2023, Rainey opened a new
location at the Pivot Center for Dance, Art, and Expression, in order to
serve youth from Cleveland’s Clark-Fulton neighborhood as well. Offering
year round programs in Music, Dance, Drama, and Visual Arts, and serving
students from preschool through adulthood, Rainey continues to recognize
and cultivate potential in all its forms and stages, embracing learners
with no arts background just as readily as those with formal training and
extensive experience. Rainey is dedicated to fostering a nurturing
community, which celebrates creativity, diversity, resilience, love, and
learning for a lifetime.
