cleveland PUBLIC theatre
presents two fan favorites this spring!

The Body Play <https://www.cptonline.org/performances/seasons/2024-2025/the-body-play/>
By Madison Wetzell
Directed by Paige Conway
Through April 13, 2025

"...a creative, devastatingly accurate show depicting what it's like to live with chronic illness."

"[The Body Play] accurately portrays the exhaustion, frustration, angst, guilt and moments of hope that those of us with chronic, invisible illnesses experience on a daily basis. Cleveland Public Theatre's world premiere production is a fine example of how theater can act as an emotional and
intimate vehicle in which we can explore unique versions of the human experience."
-Gwendolyn Kochur, Cleveland Scene

About the Play
Amy, and Amy's body, take us through a physically comedic journey through chronic illness, unresponsive medical personnel, and an unstable healthcare system while questioning the absurdity of being embodied and what it might mean to be a body.

Featuring: Day Ash, Andrea de la Fuente, Kelly Dunn, Rachel Gold, Erin K. Moran
