Please join us for a workshop staged reading of Brian Friel’s lyrical and
haunting play *Faith Healer*, directed by Adam Michael, and performed by
John Cox, Brett Sullivan Santry, and Jennifer Ruth.

The reading will be followed by a wine & cheese reception and a talkback
with the cast & director, featuring excerpts of a pre-recorded discussion
about the play with Austin Pendleton, legendary Playwright, Director &
Actor (and NE Ohio native!).

Synopsis:

Throughout the remote and forgotten corners of the British Isles, Frank
Hardy offers the promise of redemption to the sick and the suffering. But
his is an unreliable gift, a dangerous calling which brings him into
conflict with his wife Grace and his manager Teddy. Their competing
accounts of past events reveal the fragility of memory and the necessity of
stories as a means of survival.
