The Broadview Heights Spotlights is seeking applications for the position
of director for "Moon Over Buffalo" by Ken Ludwig.

Performances:  August 29, 2025–September 13, 2025
Audition Date Target:  Week of June 15
Rehearsal Start Date Target: Week of July 13

Ideal candidates must be able to show strong comedic sensibility and a
knack for physical comedy. The play is farcical in nature and includes
rapid-fire entrances, exits, and mistaken identities. Experience with
broad, character-driven comedy is crucial, as is the ability to guide
actors in finding both the humor and the underlying humanity in these
larger-than-life personalities.  They should also possess excellent pacing
skills to keep the energy high and the laughs coming, while ensuring the
emotional through-line of George and Charlotte's relationship remains clear
amidst the chaos. A collaborative spirit and a willingness to embrace the
play's inherent silliness are also highly desirable.
