OPEN AUDITIONS: Cabaret Performers Wanted!
Presented by Unite Cabaret | Akron, OH

Unite Cabaret is casting two high-energy, one-hour live productions and
we’re looking for passionate performers to bring the glamour, edge, and
power of two iconic musical inspirations to life:

Show One: BURLESQUE: A Tribute Show
Featuring music inspired by the hit movie starring Cher and Christina
Aguilera—think stilettos, sequins, powerhouse vocals, sultry dance, and
attitude for days.

Show Two: GAGA: A Tribute to Lady Gaga
A celebration of Gaga’s most electrifying hits, fashion-forward
performances, and fearless artistry—expect high-concept choreography,
theatrical flair, and vocal fire.

Seeking:
• DANCERS – All genders and body types. Must be confident in and adaptable
to multiple styles including jazz, burlesque, and pop.
• SINGERS – Strong vocalists (especially pop/rock belters) who can move.
Some roles may require solo features.
• MUSICIANS – Particularly keys, guitar, bass, and drums. Must be
comfortable accompanying dynamic live cabaret performances.

Performance Dates: June 6-July 13

Auditions:
Date: Monday, May 12
Time: 6:30-8:30
Location: 1 W Exchange Street Suite 200 Akron, Ohio 44308
Prepare: 16 bars of two contrasting songs (must bring accompaniment), 1
minute monologue, and a short 30 second dance routine in your best style.
Be ready to learn a short dance combo.
