AUDITIONS TOMORROW & MONDAY for our TEEN production of Oscar Wilde's "The
Importance of Being Earnest", the first play within the Blue Macaroon's
"Incubator Series!"

The play wil be performed Friday, Auguest 22, Saturday Auguest 23, and
Sunday August 24. Rehearsals start with a readthrough on Thursday, July
3. Rehearsal dates will vary as who is to be called when, but will usually
take place Monday thru Thursday evenings at about 6:30 PM. This is subject
to change.
Please be prepared with a resume and be prepared to cold-read from the
script. Presentation of a 1-min monologue appropriate for the play would
be prefered.
It is a farcical comedy, depicting the tangled affairs of two young men
about town who lead double lives to evade unwanted social obligations, both
assuming the name Ernest while wooing the two young women of their
affections.
We are looking for actors between the ages of 12 and 19.

Blue Macaroon Theater is a "blackbox" style theatre UPSTAIRS on the west
corner of N Portgage Street and W Marion Street in downtown Doylestown,
just 4 minutes west of Rt 21. The most likely available parking is on the
corner of W Marion St and Park Dr, slightly behind the Blue Macaroon
Theater.
