AUDITIONS FOR  "SHREK: THE MUSICAL" are this weekend at Chagrin Valley
Little Theatre!!!


IN-PERSON AUDITION SLOT FOR ADULTS ONLY, PLEASE!!!!: We've opened these
additional slots to create opportunities for more adult auditioners.  So if
you are under the age of 18, please submit an audition video per the
instructions below!!!


If you would like to audition, but are unable to sign-up for an audition
appointment, you may also audition via video submission by following the
video submission instructions below!!!



Auditions for "SHREK: The Musical" at Chagrin Valley Little Theatre

AUDITION DATES:

Saturday, August 9th from 12:00pm to 4:00pm

Sunday, August 10th from 6:15pm to 10:00pm



CALLBACKS:

Callbacks will be Sunday, August 17th from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM



PERFORMANCES:

November 14th, 2025 - December 14th, 2025

Fridays & Saturdays at 7:30 PM

Sundays, November 23 & 30 at 2:00 PM

Sundays, December 7 & 14 at 2:00 PM



REHEARSALS:

Rehearsals will take place Sundays thru Thursday from 6:30pm to 10:00pm.
Rehearsals begin September 22nd.

WHAT TO PREPARE:

PLEASE BRING YOUR HEADSHOT AND RESUME, ALL CONFLICTS BETWEEN SEPTEMBER THRU
DECEMBER AND PREPARE ONE SONG IN THE STYLE OF THE SHOW 32 BARS OR LESS.
ACCOMPANIST PROVIDED.



DANCE AUDITIONS AND READINGS FROM THE SCRIPT WILL TAKE PLACE AT CALLBACKS.



ONCE ALL TIME-SLOTS ARE FILLED ALL INTERESTED PARTIES MUST SUBMIT THEIR
AUDITION VIA VIDEO SUBMISSION.



YOUTH AUDITIONS (Under 16)/VIDEO SUBMISSIONS:

Youth, under 16, auditioning for the roles of Young Fiona, Young Shrek,
Gingy, Pinocchio, or youth ensemble, may submit video submissions for
casting consideration.



ALL VIDEO SUBMISSIONS MUST HAVE "Shrek Auditions-CVLT" IN THEIR SUBJECT
LINE TO BE ACCEPTED FOR YOUTH VIDEO SUBMISSIONS.



WHILE SINGING WITH ACCOMPANIMENT IS PREFERRED FOR VIDEO AUDITIONS, ACAPELLA
SINGING WILL BE ACCEPTED. HOWEVER, YOU MUST SING WITH AN ACCOMPANIST IF YOU
ARE INVITED TO CALL BACKS.
