Upcoming Auditions for Clague Playhouse's 98th Season!
*Ordinary Days*, Book, Music, and Lyrics by Adam Gwon
Directed by Anne McEvoy, Music Direction by Nick Klein
*Audition dates/time:* Wednesday, August 27th from 7-9PM and Saturday,
August 30th from 12-2PM. Callback dates TBD.
*Show dates:* May 22nd through June 14th, 2026
Performances are Thursdays through Saturdays at 7:30PM and Sundays at
2:00PM.
PLEASE NOTE: Auditions are being held early for this production. Ordinary
Days is a sung-through musical with little to no actual dialogue. So lining
up four strong singer/actors EARLY is important. Rehearsals, however, will
not start till April, 2026.
Please bring resume and headshot, if available. If not, Clague will shoot
one at auditions. No appointment is necessary. You can fill out audition
form when you arrive or beforehand from website. Please print and bring
with you.
Please ALSO come prepared to sing a 32 bar (roughly 1 min.) cut from a
contemporary song…preferable stylistically appropriate to (but not from)
the show.
Nick will be available to accompany. If you don’t have music, taped music
will be considered. Prefer no a capella auditions.
*THE STORY: **Ordinary Days *tells the story of four young New Yorkers
whose lives intersect as they search for fulfillment, happiness, love, and
cabs. Through a score of vibrant songs, this musical speaks to anyone who’s
ever struggled to appreciate Life’s the simple things in complex
situations. With equal doses of humor and poignancy, it celebrates how 8.3
million individual stories combine in unexpected ways to make New York City
such a unique and extraordinary home.
*CHARACTER BREAKDOWN: *Open to all ranges of diverse casting, aside from
“relative” age ranges.

controversial artist currently in lock up.
